I used getafreelancer.com to find a webdesigner to build me a website for my business. I chose develop123.com because they seemed to know what they were talking about and understood what I was trying to do. They formulated a Scope of Work document and communication was excellent. I paid $1000. as a deposit and the 1/3 payment for the site. The balance was supposed to be due upon completion of the second stage of the website and upon completion.
The Scope of Work document outlined a timeline for completion. Whenever I called to get a status, they said they were backed up or were currently working on it and will get it to me soon. Delay after delay. Michael Mann told me a story about his wife having to have a breast lump looked at and an abnormal Pap smear test so he was out of town for a week. While I told him that I understood his situation, I needed a screenshot or something of the work in progress. Again, he promised and again it didn't come thru.
First email contact to me was on April 25, 2008. Work was supposed to be delivered 10 days after May 11th (the date of acceptance of the Scope of Work document). It is now July 1st and I have yet to receive any proof of work being done.
I have contacted getafreelancer.com and they are looking into doing something about this, but cannot get my money back. I have sent a paypal back to his requesting my $1000 back. I would like to join with any other victims of this unscrupulous character to take legal action.

I once considered you a dear friend until you were threatening me at Five Star because I questioned your orders, because they made no sense and would have set us back farther in development. But, you know everything about programming, SEO, databases, etc.... which is why all you can do is set up stupid video sites with the gayest flash intro the world has ever seen, which I am sure Mikey made. I real boss would have said, "sorry, you need to work on your Flash skills first, Son". That is why you fail. Well, like usual and as has been for over a year now, you are up to your usual lies, Jeff.
I am NOT in prison and have NEVER been in prison for anything to do with my business in software and website development.
Yes, I DID get a TWO year sentence in 2001 for a bank fraud plea for a transaction the feds called illegal in 1998. I did that sentence in a federal low facility and was released in 2003. I also violated the conditions of my supervised release for smoking pot in 2008 and did 10 months in a camp.
These "crimes" as it were had nothing to do with my business and actually have nothing to do with anything other than a mistake in judgement on my part in 1998 and because I smoke pot in 2008.
Of course, as in ALL of your raves you've NEVER told the truth. Nick Burnett caught you, the DeRochers caught you and, of course, Digital Point caught you.
I know you have managed to slur me all over the search engines. For that, i give you credit. You are a scammer par excellence. you know how to cyber-stalk and you know how to abuse women and children. However, you have not once yet faced me. It's all behind the scenes with you.
At this stage of my life I have paid my dues for mistakes I have made and I am free of any further contact with the law. I even did an interview with the FBI over your accusations AND I AM STILL HERE! Must be a reason, Jeff.
