Complaint Review: Michael Marknsen

I know first hand, that he steals credit cards. He buys them from hustlers and uses them to live (luxuriously). How he hasn't been caught yet, i don't know. He mainly shrugs off things and vendors fall for his stories. He's never without an exotic meal on someone else's dime. He drives cars that don't belong to him. He has encumbered all of my assets including my properties. He's stolen over $125 thousand dollars of equity straight out of my home. How? Because, at the time, he was a loan officer.

He is no longer practicing legally, which is why you'll see him on the streets of Kirkland at any given hour...just living the life. He's unemployed. Why? He bankrupted his last business, Tri-Star Financial. He has swindled countless employees out of their paychecks, opened up fraudulent credit cards in partners' names, and just simply over charged for his loans. ...and his loans (believe me) were all the type of loan you wouldn't want. But he preys on the unknowing. He has stolen equipment from his own partners, and left them with debts to corporations.

He has countless suits against him for fraud, embezzlement, TAX EVASION and just plain robbery. He has rape charges against him, which is very real. The only reason why the rape charge hasn't come to fruition is because he evades making a statement and the detective at King County is being lazy. The person he raped was a 24 year old woman who he rented out one of his rooms to. She fled the scene (him owing her the rest of the unused rent payment, never to be paid). Michael Marknsen lives high on the hog. He swindles cash out of all of the innocent by conning them. He acts like he already has money and therefore, some are willing to "lend" him money or give him their vehicles or what have you. He is the dirtiest there is.

He denies having children, when he has THREE of them. He has TEN brothers and sisters and NONE of them want anything to do with him. He's frauded atleast TWO of them, leaving them with bad credit scores and nothing to show for monies given. Outside of his family, he has swindled aproximately 13 people. ...and those are just the LOCALS that i happen to be aware of. There is no one he won't hurt. He makes up stories like he was once Marine or a US Marshall. The guy can't even swim!

He carries a fake badge around. He is a convicted FELON with a terrible history. He's spent time in prison for cocaine importing/exporting as well as weaponry. The way our lovely system works is that he gets away with all the small things like misdemeanors because the federal government is protecting him. Yes, he is in the witness protection program! He narked on his OWN people to get a lighter sentence.

Now that he's been out for several years, he feels it's ok to get creative and start new with a different approach. Con artistry. How nice. A gentlemen by the name of Bigelow, in Kirkland told me that Michael had a conversation with him when Michael first moved to Kirkland. He said to Bigelow, "this town is for the takin"...and that's what he's doing. You'll see him around with various unsuspecting individuals that have no idea who he is or what he's about. He's only using these people.

Michael has taken it upon himself to insert his name into my 401K as the PRIMARY DEATH BENEFICIARY. He has all of my information because he was my loan officer a few years ago. It opened up my world to him. Since then, he's opened up FOUR credit cards in my name and max'd them all out. His REAL NAME IS MICHAEL PAYNE with a DIFFERENT social security number. If you see him on the streets, don't give him the time of day or you WILL be sorry. He has anti harassment orders against him and he continues to violate them (which is why every now and again, you'll notice he's not around). Yes, that's because Kirkland AND King County JAIL are his homes away from home. He's an obsessive sociopath. Oh and all you women out there, BEWARE.

He "owns" a home at the top of goat hill in Kirkland. It's been in foreclosure for a while now and will hopefully lose it in September for not paying his mortgage payments since last year. His utilities are constantly being shut off for non payment. Oh but then there is always the x girlfriend's credit accounts! Yes, he is so lovely that he took it upon himself to hook himself up to bill payer and pay about 3 months of utilities with his EX GIRLFRIEND's account! He loves to show off his house, which really isn't anything other than a large, unkempt bachelor pad on a hill with no family photos. He plays like he is a baller, but in reality a thieving, lying rapist. EVEN HIS POOL TABLE downstairs is STOLEN. Yes, that's right.

The way he does it is he'll "purchase" something and then disputes the charge with his bank. The bank investigates and then the vendor says, "no, the merchandise has been given". Then Michael gets to keep his pool table because who is going to knock on his door and MAKE him give it back. Needless to say, he doesn't have a b of a account anymore and that's just one small example of the kinds of relationships HE has with creditors and business owners here. Want to be his friend? I'm sure he'll love you if you've got a big house, nice car, a boat or even a beautiful wife/girlfriend that he like to get his hands on. BEWARE.
