Complaint Review: Michael's Imports

 I recently purchased an xterra from Paul Mitchell at Michaels Imports and am disappointed with these guys. I was told that if there were any problems with it that they would fix it right away with no cost to me. Well.....turns out that Paul Mitchell didn't keep his word in this case. The fuel sender didn't work as evident with the first gas fill up, the xterra was leaking oil like crazy.... Needed a new o ring in the oil cooler, the back tires...although very shiny, were dry rotten and the tread I was told was very dangerous to drive on. These guys even went as far as using a none primer black paint to cover the running boards...looked good until I sprayed it with a typical garden hose! Now the paint comes off. I called Michaels imports the very next day and both Paul Mitchell and Michael decided to give me the run around until I stopped calling them. - [ ] Opinionated Conclusion: Shining Garbage for sale by Paul Mitchell and owner Michael, two "men" that, in my situation couldn't keep their word. Warning: get everything in writing before buying. Their word, in my case, was no good! I had to put pay an extra $1000 +- dollars in repairs before making my first payment. Also, after telling my story to others, it seems I'm not the only one that has had problems with Michaels imports, even my brother purchased an Suv that the engine went out shortly after. Just be careful with these guys. I think we as hard working Americans deserve better than to waste our money, we need reliable vehicles so we can get to and from our jobs!
