This review is factual and honest to my experiences with this company - a first amendment right to express.
Michael Zatorski comes across as a “nice guy” but uses that as a cover to his continuous mismanagement of projects and failure to communicate timely and accurately. Ultimately, he clearly has a lot on his plate, which negatively impacted his follow through on his commitment to see our ADU project to fruition. He has continued to ask for payment in advance of work, which is against the law - and when our project was near to be completed, once again asked for payment in full for the balance owed to finish the job. Naturally, we refused to pay 100% of the balance until 100% of the project has been completed to normal standard and per mutually agreed contract. As a result, Michael abandoned the job and pawned the work off to the actual licensed contractor - breach of contract terms. Per contract, completion was to be in 90 days from start date and after 9 months - project was left incomplete and without passing final inspection.
All in all there was minimal of the remaining balance of the contract left to swindle from us, and as a result - we have been left with an incomplete house and a construction mess for us to figure out.
