After more than several emails from Michelle Andrews - Instant Money Vault, I decided to take a look. I signed up for their half off limited special ($49.95). I was then prompted to either pay for their pro package (which was highly recommended) or to accept their free site. Their pro package clearly stated that it was available for $9.95 - So as I started to sign up and fill out the forms, the bottom line was $119.** (not $9.95)

But here is the real fishy part. While I was online filling out the forms for the website and webhosting, I recieved a call from a representative of MA. saying to not enter anymore information online. I'm not new to trying out various "opportunities" - After the rep expalined about affiliate programs etc.

the rep asked for my CC number. I then told her that I'll use the same number that I used to signup for the initial IMV. The rep then said that I could not do that and she was asking for my CC number (Bells @ whistles, red flags etc.)

I hung up, I was still online. I emailed a reponse to their support stating this:

I purchased the instant money vault thinking that that was all I needed to do. I was called by someone immediately and that person asked my to stop registering via the web. I became suspicious when I said I would like to pay for the pro plan with the same CC number that I had entered on the website. She said that I could not do that and that I was to order by phone and she proceeded to ask me the CC number. I said wait wait, why? Because this was ringing bells and whistles and sending red flags. Needless to say I tried to apply for the pro plan under the impression that it would cost me $9.95 flat - Than I typed in my card number but the bottom line was $119.**

Please refund me my money today 8/29/07 I have heard more than enough. I really do not want to report you to the rip-off report. Thank you.

It's been more than a few hours since and I feel that I'll never here from their support team. Tomorrow I'm calling my CC company to find out how to obtain my refund.

This company has a sophisticated website, with no broken links. But they are certainly not upfront and the site is loaded with calculated sell-ups. including a one on one mentoring offer (meant for a select few) I know this tactic.I designed to make the potential mentee feel like he is one of the few select, when the ploy is just filler to get to potential buyer to their bottom line.

Please post this and I'll do a follow up whan this clears and it willclear. HL
