Microsoft Office 365 Not Working on their New, Expensive Surface Pro - Getting Support is "Impossible" , Internet

Microsoft Office 365 will not work on my brand new Microsoft Surface Pro combination laptop/tablet.

After spending two hours on the phone with their technical support yesterday and four hours today, trying to work with the Microsoft technical support team, I still cannot run Microsoft Office 365 on my new Surface Pro.

Two hours were partially lost when I had a scheduled call with tier 2 support, and they never called.

1 hour and 53 minutes were lost waiting on hold today, when I called tier 1 asking to get to tier 2.

On a personal side note, I think I'd prefer water boarding to the hold music they employ.

I cannot get support for this software purchase for this machine.  The machine has a few other flaws, which I haven't even broached with them, because I was trying to get the Office 365 problem solved first.

I had no idea that Microsoft could be so inept at supporting their products.

I called back general customer service, but no one can help me escalate this.  They just wanted to transfer me and put me on hold again.

Wow.  Wish I could return this now.

Sigh.
