Microsoft ripoff of $20 rebate purchase at Costco rebate denied Rebate Center Clifton New Jersey
I purchased Microsoft Money 2004 Deluxe from Costco. Microsoft web site stated $20 rebate. Mailed all info to rebate center and rebate was denied.
The reason was since I purchased the software at a discount the rebate is not valid. The rebate does not state this and customer service supervisor Krystal acknowleged this fact. The bottom line I am out $20 and buyer beware. Microsoft is dishonest in its rebate practices.

Microsoft was correct in unqualifying your Costco rebate submission

i can tell you for a fact that you were unqualified correctly for your money deluxe submission purchased at costco.
When you buy microsoft product (software) at costco, your till receipt prints up the submission information as to where you need to submit your rebate. costco does their own fulfillment of their rebates and they manage a vendor in scottsdale, arizona who performs this.
You should contact costco head office or a local costco for this information (1 800 number).
