I bought a brandnew HP computer a few months ago with Windows Vista already installed. My time is valuable and it really bothers me that I have to call MS every time when downloading an upgrade in order to get a new activation code from these jerks. My software was activated when I bought the PC and what I was told is that the "automatic activation" over the internet works only the first time.

So now each time I have to talk to some reps in India who are really hard to understand and who ask me all kind of questions about the software and my computer before they would give me a new activation code. every time I have to spend between 20 and 30 minutes for something that I have paid for.

I am not a Software pirate and don't see why I have to spend my time to continue to use something that I have already paid for. What about if you bought a brandnew car that asks you to call the manufacturer every other week in order to proof that you are the legitimate owner ???
