Mid-Atlantic moving and storage MKJ enterprises Over charged for local move and almost all my furniture and damaged the house and now they do mot want to pay Richmond Virginia
We are military when we arrived in Virginia we rented a home little did we know we would have to move again in 19 months .
We have 16,000 lbs of furniture all big German and Italian very heavy so we hired a moving company to com and move just the heavy furnitue . We were quoted $675 since we were moving 10 minutes down the road. We the were done and starterd unloading they literally broke pieces of wood off of my china cabinet big dents where you can that other furniture was pressed against damaged our brand new fridge.. I could go on and on . They even damaged the walls in the new home. I looked at loss and damage report only to find they pay .60 cents per pond but we have a $500.00 deductible so needless to say . They can damage our belongings and not pay nice.. My advice to anyone moving do research on the company and when the movers show up and start asking about a dip 3 minutes in to the move you probably should change your mind.
