Mid Carolina Exteriors Our sliding doors have been leaking into wall right below and They won't fix it! Columbia South Carolina
We contracted with Mid-Carolina Exteriors on 11-15-96 for a cost of $25,644 too put in new windows, doors, shutters, siding and new porch railings on Our house. The job was completed sometime after Febuary of 1997.
On the July 4th weekend of 2009 We noticed Our dining room wall was soggy feeling.My Husband called Mid-Carolina Exteriors that Monday or Tuesday too report it.He talked too Keith Stein the owners son. He said He would come out in a couple weeks.
About the 29th or 30th of July 2009, one of Their Employees called and said He was in the area and wanted too come and check out the wall. His name was Wayne and He said it had too do with the brick around the sliding glass door in Our bedroom.
Keith Stein was suppose too come out August 3rd and called that morning and said He couldn't make it but would come out that Friday August 7th, 2009. He called again and talked too My Husband and said He had too talk too His Dad Sol Stein about it so He didn't come out again.
I called on Friday August 21st and asked too have Keith call. He didn't call that Monday so I called again that Tuesday August 25th and talked too a man Who I believe was Sol Stein the owner because I remember talking too Him when We contracted with Them too do the work. He said He would have Keith call the next morning but He didn't call.
I called again that Thursday or Friday August 27th or 28th and talked too a woman. Keith can not even be bothered too come out and check out the damage.
Keith told My Husband the warrenty covers workmanship which We believe this is since They did the work. It says on the contract lifetime warrenty. He also said We should of discovered that the sliding glass door was leaking before 12 years but it was leaking inside Our dining room wall right below so We could not see it.
