Midas Aouto Service Experts MIDAS OVERCHARGED more than double labor for simple tune up Falls Church, Virginia
I was charged $299 for labor for a tune up that AUTO MD and local dealer told me should cost no more than $120 for labor. MIDAS also of charged me $80 for a set of spark plug woires that has a normal retial price of less than $35, so they also made a huge profit on the parts.
When I found out i had overpaid and contacted the manager, he told me they charged .3 hours (18 minutes) to replace each spark plug and .3 hours (18 minutes) just to attached each of the 6 spark plug wires. This of course doe not take anywhere near that long to do.
