Complaint Review: Midas Auto Service Experts

Without going into as much detail as I provided in my BBB report, I lost 2 weeks worth of work, and over $1,200 in repairs that were never made to my car. What started out as a minor stuttering problem, turned into a huge ordeal spanning months. After being lied to on numerous occasions, this particular shop finally admitted that they were unsure as to what the problem was, and finally sent it to a dealership that had the proper tools to diagnose the problem.

I find out a few months later that the repairs that were "completed", were actually not completed at all. And no, I didn't have my buddy Joe Mechanic look at the vehicle and prepare false reports. I called Midas headquarters and followed their directions and had it inspected at another Midas location that found these issues. Long story short? If you want to be ripped off, take a trip and see Craig or Brian at Midas in Rochester, New York. They'll be more than happy to stick it to you.
