In 2004, I paid $400 to Midas Muffler in Palmdale, Ca. to do a complete muffler job. I just happened to have them checked today at Sergio's in Palmdale and they told me the mufflers were rubbing on my gas tank and already had worn into it a bit, could have exploded or caught on fire. I paid $180 for repairs and went to Midas and told them. They told me, "my name was on there records but they couldn't do anything about it, as they bought the business last year or so." Even so, they carry the Midas name and should be held for the business dealings. Someone should be liable for their big mistakes that could have caused a death or serious injuries.
