I  had front and rear brakes fixed with new hubs for [abs] fixed roters and caplier.fixed the axles leak paid way to much I did not want to have a break problem again $1500.00 worth of fixing.I had to go back three times to get the hub looked at they drove it and said there is not a thing wrong with it,I had to take a picture of the abs light on to them to take another look. I boss at the local Midas did not want to hook up the computer to see what was wrong with the truck, the worker keep on asking him to hook it to the computer [4] time he asked.

The manager at the local Midas finally hooked up the truck to the computer and there was a fault code [hub was bad] boss asked me to set an appointment up,I told him you don`t get it my ride is already on the way to pick me up I am leaving the truck, I know the truck was not working right for $1500.00.That was the third time I had to force the state rd. Midas to do what they replaced and tried to charge me again for the new part.

june 6 2012 worker called me from midas telling me the hub [abs] working fine the back brakes need replaced and the leak is back that will be $700.00 plus the labor I have only driven my truck 12,000 miles in 2 years 9 months where is the wear and tear that he told me on the phone on 6/6/2012 he told that truck is a heavy duty truck and the wear and tear is high on that truck,I bought my truck new and 12 years later it has 74,000 miles on it where is the wear and tear on a Chevy truck that is mechanically sound MINUS that brakes that midas put on my truck.
That is what midas does puts in cheap parts charges high so they can tell you replacement parts are free under warranty but labor you have to pay for.

My advice to all the people that read this send Midas a letter,e-mail,or call your local midas and tell them to close the door we do not want you ripping any person off in our area for the same parts being replaced and charged for the labor. I am also disabled on social security

is that what you do: call, blame it on the car maker, tell the owner of a midas bring up all kinds of crap to get off point of inferior parts that you provide to the customer and repeat when necessary :: this experience, all of the 6 times for one brake job with Midas and still not backing your workmanship or parts plus  shifting the complaint form HQ to franchisee now to the maker of the truck, disappointed. the corporate  and the  franchisee is to deflect inferior parts. all that has been said is to bring what does not have to do with the brake job that cost $1500.00. this Case #:443332 will not be the last one you will have to answer the B.B.B. complaint along with the state of ohio helping me get a attorney seeing I am disabled on social security[free attorney filing in court for complaints]

you keep on handing this off back to him, he has one objective pay more for the same half rate brake job that you back in public. [ strong interest in resolving any difficulties their customers
encounter] strong interest getting customers to pay twice. is this how the midas company keeps the door openshift the blame until they complaint goes away [  ripoffreport.com]

i SENT THIS ON 6/29/2012
this will never get fixed when you get the money for a job run and hide that is what midas corporation and the  Franchisee is all about. why would you keep on driving this as a point of interest [ ties to the community ]. the way a midas does business is to cheat and bad workmanship until you shut the door I would not want any midas in the community the way this  Franchisee  is deflecting the actions that nothing is his fault and to take time to look up recalls that are 12 years old is not reflecting good at all [grasping at straws]  and not one menction of bending the door hinge on my truck that midas did in fact

all this time the Franchisee keep telling me over and over I am cutting the normal price down for you to get the problem fixed. and now he is adding tires, belts  ect....

how muck should a entire brake job cost[1500.00] to do it right the first time[question midas does not and can`t answer this they have never fixed it the first time

Lifetime Warranty Joke

#3Consumer Suggestion

Wed, June 06, 2012

Anyone in the automotive business who advertises a lifetime warranty only does it for parts. Why? Because it gets you back in the door later to pay exhorbitant labor costs which in essence covers the cost of the new parts. You're not getting anything for free. Best bet? Have the work done by a reliable, trusted garage.
