I needed my front wheels aligned and my usual mechanic's computer was broken. I took my car, which by the way had just been inspected AND tuned up by someone honest, to the Midas shop on 125th St. in Harlem. There was literally nothing wrong with the car.

I left the car there and the scumbag calls me up and tries to ring me up for over $1,000 in repairs, including new engine mounts (he claimed the old ones were broken) and some random crap related to the steering. I asked the guy how I could have possibly driven my manual transmission Volvo three miles without any problems with busted engine mounts and he said I "got lucky". He was right, I WAS lucky in the fact that I knew what he was talking about and I knew to get my car out of there.
Everything he said was complete garbage!!! SCUMBAG!!!
