Complaint Review: Midas Touch Estate Sales

We contracted with Midas Touch to perform a partial estate sale.  The sale was supposed to be on a Fri-Sat-Sun.  On Sunday we went to the house during what we thought were going to be sale hours.

When we arrived at the hosue, there were serveral customers waiting to get in.  No one from Midas Touch was at the house.  Every light in every room, first floor, second floor and basement was on.  The A/C had been set down to 70 and there were windows on the second floor that were open.  The basement door was left unlocked.  There was a huge pile of trash on the floor of the garage.

We were promised a settlement for the estate sale after 30 days.  After 60 days I threatened to sue if we did not receive a check.  It took 9 weeks to get paid.

The lack of regard for our property was very surprising for someone in that type of business.
