Midland Credit Management, Inc This company is trying to collect on a debt from a creditor I've never had credit thru Los Angeles California
I've received numerous bills within the last 6 months from MCM requesting payment for a credit card I supposedly had through Citibank.
I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE HAD A CITIBANK CREDIT CARD, LOAN OR OTHERWISE. THIS COMPANY HAS ALWAYS DECLINED TO OFFER.
Someone has either stolen my identity and open this alledged account or this company has fraudulently obtained my information by inappropriate measures and are trying to get me to pay something I do not owe and will not be paying.
I contacted all 3 credit bureaus to advise them of my dispute. If I need to hire an attorney to file a class action lawsuit against them and Citibank then I will do so.

I would get your credit reports and see if there is anything else you are unaware of. If it's a case of identity theft, you will need to get that cleared up and then submit all the proof to the company I guess that it wasn't you whom opened the line of credit. As of right now, they don't have any reason to believe it wasn't you other than your word, which unfortunately isn't worth much.
