Complaint Review: Midland Credit Management

This company called my father in laws house repeatedly looking for my husband who has never lived there and they just got a new phone number 2 months ago. My husband contacted the company which refused to tell him anything about the supposed debt owed unless he gave them his SS# which he did not. This company hung up on him 3 times and then the 4th time they admitted to calling and that he had a 100,000.00 debt. He had recienctly had his credit run due to the fact that we were going to purchase a home. Amazingly enough his credit is good enough to purchase a home with no money down. There are tons of comments online about how this company scams people out of money and then when they get caught they refuse to return the money. Be wary of this business.
