Midland Credit Management ripoff San Diego California
I currently have an account with Midland Credit Management. They call my house all the time so I don't answer the phone unless it's someone I know and they call me at work. I don't want to send a letter telling them to quit calling me because I saw in one report that they told someone if they do that then they sell the account to a lawyer.
I don't know if I should accept a settlement, go to credit counceling or someone told me to file bankruptcy.
I know this isn't really a complaint but I don't know what to do. The SOL in my state is almost so I don't know if I should just wait and hope they don't sue or freeze my accounts. The account is from 91 on a refinance. The original amount was for 3500 and now they want almost 8000.
I would like to know how Steve from Bradenton Florida got out of paying his debts. That seems like an awful lot of money to get out of paying. I just don't have the money to do much and I was young and stupid at the time thinking nothing would come of it.
If someone could give me some information it would be great. It seems like a lot of people have experience with this company.
