Complaint Review: MIDLAND FUNDING LLC

Received same letter and date as Susan,inTexas, except mine goes back to 1994, when debt was paid with a payoff figure through a collection agency.

My son was killed in a car accident in 1992, and I took the insurance money, paid off all our debts, and never had a CC since. In 2002 I financed a Dell through Citibank and paid it off in 1/2 the time. I do not believe they would have given the loan if they thought I was still in debt to them.

Think these vultures are using "job security" to see if they can squeeze any thing they can from people with these letters. What can I do?
