MIDTEK METALWORKS & MILLWRIGHT LLC USED THEIR SERVICES AND WAS TAKEN FOR A $10,000 OVERHEAD CRANE!! Mountain Grove, Missouri
Eric Emery with Midtek was the Supervisor working teardowns for the auction put on by Starman Bro. Auctions on 10/30/10. We were informed only 1 of 2 preapproved companies, Midtek being one, were allowed to teardown the lifts purchased. We made an argreement with Eric and was informed he would call the next day when it was taken down to pick it up. We called the next 2 days and were told they were still working on it. By the 3rd day we went to the site to find the building locked up and the lift gone.
I called Eric who said they had taken the lift down and his crew had mistakenly given it to someone else and he couldnt get it back so the company would reimburse us for our loss. Again after many phone calls and broken promises no check was written, and now the office # is disconnected and Eric wont answer or return my calls.
We have had to hire out many jobs we could have done ourselves had we had the lift we already have put the money out for. Midtek is full of nothing but broken promises and appearantly a thief among them.
