Midwest Center For Stress And Anxiety; Good Living Labs LLC Charged my credit card for vitamin pills I didn't order and which were never delivered. Oak Harbor Ohio
I ordered the program from the Midwest Center for Stress and Anxiety, but then decided not to use it, cancelled my order and sent their material back to them. A month later, I noticed a charge on my credit card from some outfit I'd never heard of -- Good Living Labs, LLC. I found on the web that the two companies are affiliated, so I called the Midwest Center to get them to stop charging my account for unordered product.
They told me they could do nothing -- it was a different company. And they said that I had authorized the purchase. And, incredibly, they said that the vitamin pills had been delivered (they were not).
Rather remarkable, seems to me.
I dealt only with the Midwest Center, and never ordered any vitamins. They place an order, unbeknownst to me, with "a sister company," and then have the gall to say they can't do anything about it.
Clever, maybe. A ripoff -- I think so. Shamefully unethical -- duh!
