 Contacted Midwest Engine Inc., Steve Spencer to purchase a remanufactured diesel engine though web site. Engine was to be completed and sent to our location within 10 to 14 working days. Started on 09/11/2014 with an advance payment of $10,200.00 to start work on the engine. Emailed and called Steve several times between 09/11/2014 and 11/20/2014 always received excuses that engine was not completed, computers crashed, emplyee got hurt had to shut down shop and engine ahead of ours was having issues. On 11/20/2014 demanded that Midwest Engine Inc. refund advance payment if could not deliver remanufactured engine. After requesting refund no response from Midwest Engine Inc. would not answer certified letter for request of refund or emails. Anybody with same problems with Midwest Engine Inc. contact me and will add to claims filed with several agencies.
