This company was operating without a business license in the state of Iowa. They were ordered by the attorney generals office of Iowa to stop all business practices in the state, until they paid fines and obtained a business license. They failed to show up for a subpoena to court and were fined. The company also operates under another name of nationwide construction. Both businesses are tied to an owner of a strip club located in Omaha. I went to work for them before doing my homework and am currently owed money for labor and commissions for work done in the state of Kansas. They do not have a license to operate in the state of Kansas and are in violation of this law as well. I have spoke to other sub contractors in the roofing business that said they were owed several thousands of dollars for insurance work done in the state of Iowa. To my knowledge they have not complied with the attorney generals order that has fines of $6970.00 and $7460.00 respective to the order. The penality for non compliance is $5000.00 per day for each day they are not in compliance. They currently have a F Rating from the BBB. There are numerous complaints filed against these companies. They range from collecting money and not finishing jobs to possible insurance fraud.
