Complaint Review: Midwest Restoration SVC

This restoration company was referred to us by the contractors who fixed our home after an accident. I am very disappointed by their customer service and packing skills. When I returned to my home items were thrown into boxes and I cut myself on pieces of glass from broken picture frames. There were dents in other items. In addition, I was missing academic journals which they claimed they never touched. They did not want to work out a resolution to the matter. They wanted to blame the homeowners when they came in and packed up several rooms. I am not pleased at all with their services and could NOT recommend that you use them. Use another company which is more customer service oriented and cares about the homeowner's items especially those with sentimental value. Do not use them. I have contacted them for weeks. I emailed them pictures and they claim that they have pictures of the missing items, but do not want to send them because they have wasted too much time on us. In addition, they called us liars. However we have pictures to prove otherwise. They are very rude, hung up the phone on us and basically did not want to deal with us anymore. They admitted that they packed the items, but it was not their fault.
