Midwestern Brand Meats Houston's Choice Steaks, Disgusting, Green, Expensive Meat bolingbrook, Illinois
I purchased some meat from a guy selling door to door right after I moved into our new place. He said he couldn't contact the person who wanted to buy it so since he had already paid for it that morning he would sell it on the cheap. The name on the box of fillet mignon was Midwestern Brand Meats... and that's about all.
Sure, there was a nutrition label, but no contact information, or anything worthwhile. I wish I would've noticed that before.
I took a few out of the freezer today and they were green and slimy. Disgusting. This is when I tried finding contact information. Nothing on the box. Nothing but a rip-off report online. Looked up their name on Google Maps... again, nothing. Yeah, they're REAL proud of their products.

# 1 don't buy green meat!#2why would you buy off someone with no phone #either pay by credit card or check......Something sounds real fishy...green? Realy?....sounds like either someone knew they were stolen......and bought something that was stolen.....again....no company name...did you pay by check credit card etc. .........hmmmmmm.....sounds stolen and not properly taken care of.....midwestern brand....produced by quantum......very reputal company.....but this post is a sham!
