Mighty Mule gate openers use Nortek Control for their warranty and technical support.  I had a problem with my secondary gate operator and Nortek reluctantly sent me another operator after wasting my whole day sending pictures and videos.  They told me to move the supports for BOTH gates to a position opposite of what the instructions said to do.  This was putting the other gate into a slight bind as it first started to move.  I told Nortek if this caused that gate to go out that they were going to have to send another operator.  I also told them to send me a letter stating that they instructed to move it to a position opposite of what the instructions and the representative said he would, "no problem".  THey refused to send out the new operator until I sent pictures that I did as they instructed me.  

Needless to say, the date operator on the primary side went out in short order and when I called ablout it they refused to send another one.  I don't think the operator would have gone out if left in the original position, as instructed by the manufacturer in the manual that came with the operator.

As a result, Nortek forced me to move that  supports, which put the primary operator into a bind, which caused the gate to strip gears.....and then refused to replace it!

Save your money.....buy a Ghost Opener.
