This is a direct quote from their tech support when I complained that their product did not function:

"I replied to a previous ticket that you issued. I had asked that you disabled any anti-virus or firewall applications on both machines that you are trying to use. If these programs are not disabled it will interfere with the functionality of the synchronization."

It's been widely reported in the electronic press that with your firewall and virus protection disabled, your computer will get a virus in no more than four minutes, and it could be as short as thirty seconds. So, if you don't want a virus, don't use their software. But if you love shelfware, software that is unusable, then buy from them.
