Complaint Review: mike carlson motor company

All this company wants is your money! They say they arent the typical car dealership but once they have your money in their hands all they want is more! I signed the contract on a car in Feburary and thought it was going to be a good investment. WRONG. Within a week the car was already falling apart! The glove compartment broke when I opened it and when you test drive the car if you dont find anything wrong with it before you sign the waiver they'll charge you to get it fixed later!  This was just the begining! About 2 days later I got pulled over and got a ticket for my license plate light being out! So much for the "inspection" they do on the car before they sell it to you!! My passenger door will unlock with ANY key! and when I told them they asked if I had written that down on the list of things to fix before i signed the waiver! Obviously I didnt check to see if the doors unlock with a key I mean that should be with any car. So they refused to fix that. Luckily I got them to pay for the ticket I recieved for the license plate light being out. Then once my actual license plates came in I got PULLED OVER AGAIN! Turns out they gave me the wrong license plates!!  I only got a warning for this since I told them i barely purchased the vehicle! I called MCMC and they said "oh yeah we gave you someone elses plates sorry come get your real ones." WOW. Siince then everything has been OKAY. Until recently I went out of state for almost a month. I told the secretary that I was gonna be late on my payment since I wasnt going to be in the country she said ok. Once I finally get back into the US I have about 50 missed calls and almost as much voicemails from MCMC saying that they need to urgently speak with me about my car. So i called them and they asked why i haven't paid my car, i told them the situation and how I told the secretary to note it on my account, they said there was no notes so i told them I would go make the payment the next day since it was already 530 pm. Well what do you know 45 minutes later I go outside and MY CAR IS GONE! Apparently they came and repossessed it while I was inside my house. I tried calling MCMC back but they closed at 6 I WAS FURIOUS! So I called the next morning when they opened at 9am. The first thing they asked for when they answered was "my past due payment" I told them about how I just spoke with them the day before and again NO NOTES ON MY ACCOUNT. I told them the car had been repossessed and she said they didnt have any paperwork stating that and they didn't know where it was and to call back "in a few hours" So as i'm sitting at home CARLESS for hours they finally call me 6 hours later saying my car is 45 minutes away and that i'd have to call the Tow Company to get the price to get it out. WHY SHOULD I PAY BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T TAKE NOTES. So i call the company and all together the fees to get it out are $450 just for that one day and $20 a day holding fee, plus MCMC wanted their full payment so altogether they wanted me to pay almost $1000 to get my car back when it shouldn't have towed it in the first place. I have had it with this car dealership they are COMPLETE IDIOTS and should be shut down for the way they treat their customers.Needless to say I will never get another car from them nor recommend anyone to them.
