I was new to Texas and was not aware of the reputation of this company. I put $4500 on this car to bring the price under $20,000.00 so I thought. I went home after the deal and has taken the time to look over the paperwork and saw that I would be paying them over $30,000.00 for this car. I went back to the dealership and tried to talk to Joe my saleman about his and he stated it was nothing that could be done now that I drove the car off the lost. I was upset but figured this is how Texas laws are. I assumed I had at least 24 hours to return if things didn't seem right and it didn't early on. I had kepot the car and was making these high payments of $550 a month for thios vehicle. So when I was offered a chance to lower the payment I took it.

They dropped my payments to $475. I was due in November for my payment as usual on the 5th of each monnth and advised them I would be in to pay it that Friday November 11th, well they came and repossessed my car and put it on my credit. I talked to a rep that advised me that the previous rep should have never made a payment arrangement with me since it was my first car payment. I told the woman it wasn't my first payment that I been having the car for years. She said due to the rewrite that I basically started a new contract so they have to treat it as a new purchase and that I would have to pay $963 to get the car back and that they wouldn't take it off my credit. Well March 24th I wrecked the car. I had insurance through them and GAP insurance. Well I have been trying to get another vehicle but since they haven't closed the loan I have with them it has been impossible.

Talked to one of their insurance reps that stated that if I paid my last payment that they would provide a letter stating that my account would be closed in good standing. And trhat I would have to talk to someone who is in their cutomer service dept to make arrangements for the tow and storage fees. I asked him can I get an invoice showing these charges and he stated customer service would go over it with me. I spoke to a lady named Grace that stated they would not ptovide me with a letter of good standing or invoice for the charges so I refused to pay them the $906 that they are requesting. I thought about it and called Alexis back to ask why he said one thing and then the rep said something else and how can they ask me for more money and not give me anything in return.

He stated that he was sorry for me misunderstanding what he said and that I could not get a letter from them and I would have to wait 30 days for it to show on my credit and thats would be my proof. I hung up. I received a call from a supervisor named Thomas that stated the reason they could not provide a letter is because I could tamper with the letter and commit fraud. He did state that he would verbally tell any dealership I went to that the account will be closed in good condition and that's the best he could do and still won't provide an invoice showing why I owe them $900. So I am stuck paying for a rental to get my 3 kids to school and to work.I have been so lost rying to find help because I am not from here and really don't know what actions I can take.

I talked to Thomas the CIP manager about them letting another dealership that my account will be closed in good standing now he sayint that Ray Lloyd the general manger will tell them that they "INTEND" to close the account in good standing not that it will. So I am supposed to give them $900 on something they intend to do.
