Mike Crown Holiday Inn Is a rip off artist Burbank California
Stayed at the Holiday Inn in Burbank a few months ago. My room was disgusting! There was hair found on our bed sheets, a dead roach in the closet and the shower was grimy. My wife and I went downstairs to report it to the front desk and request a new room. Mike Crown who is apparently one of the managers or owners of the hotel laughed at us. I couldn't believe how rude he was! He then looked at my wife and mumbled under his breath: "what do you want? a palace?"
All we wanted was either our room cleaned or a new room and Mike Crown was ridiculously rude and insultive! He started arguing with us in the lobby (you can tell he has a temper) and people were looking at him like he was crazy. He then stormed back into his office and you could tell everybody in the lobby was really uncomfortable.
The lady at the front desk kept appologing for Mike Crown's behavior. She stated that he gets this way sometimes and they just have to deal with it.
My wife and I demanded a refund for being treated so poorly and Mike Crown wouldn't do it. We immediately checked out and moved to the Hilton across town. We then filed a chargeback with American Express, who promptly returned our money after their investigation.
What an awful experience! I feel sorry for everyone that works under Mike Crown. I would never stay at this hotel again.
