Mike J. Anderson sent me a copy of an arrest warrent as an attachment via the internet.  Anybody knows that arrest warrents are not filed this way.  There is no seal, no valid credentials stating that he is acutally an attorney for the State of Virginia and no physical address. There was also a note with the attachment stating that "this is to inform you that we have received a PENDING law ACTION against your name and your Social Security Number".  As I read further, the note said "that this is the last NOTIFICATION you will receive in regards to this".  Pending DOCKET number is BRC47238-2014.  The note also stated "should you ignore this communique, wi WILL advise our CLIENT to PROCEED further with the LEGAL ACTION AGAINST you.

Of course I was concerned, so I called the number on the attachment.  Mike Anderson picked up and the first thing that sent up a red flag was the fact that he used his own name with no title and did not state the State's offical title.  The second thing that made me suspicious was his foreign accent.  This seems to be a common amoung scam artists.

So far, I have not called Mke back because I refuse to be scammed.  I may have some outstanding payday loan debt, but USA Cash is not one of them.  If I am going to be charged with anything, I want to see a valid summons on arrest warrent served by someone with the proper credentials.

It's a common Ripoff, usually originating in India.  You're doing the right things to protect yourself.
