This is the e-mail I received from Mike Korallus, owner of Infiniti of Lisle after sending them my negotiation e-mail regarding one of their used cars. I can't believe this kind of customer service is still existing nowadays.

Mike Korallus here at Theinfinitisuperstore. Thanks for your interest in the cheapest BMW in the western hemisphere (including Hawaii and most of Europe). As the proud holder and owner of this car I have decided to sell it to you for the internet price and I'll throw in a fifty dollar bird-dog check to yourself..fifty!!!....yes that's right fifty!!!! Keep it and use it to take your significant whatever out for a nice tofu or beef burger and get the cheeseyou earned it. Why not, a shrewd negotiator like yourself that reads the newspaper and knows the economical situation with the in's and out's of the auto industry deserves the big fiftie. The vehicle can be shipped right to your door with your approval. No hassle no problems. The nicest, for least amount! That's how we do it and also how we are very successful in this tough economic environment. I think some of the owners of the other stores may be in a pickle because they are $$$$4 grand more than us but not me! I own this store and profit is a dirty word to us. How do we do it? Anybodys guess! But that's how we feel about passing along savings to our cherished and beloved clients. (one of which you are currently not) Feel free to wire your money if you can buy the car. If you need a two thousand dollar car I can get you one of those for about 2,200. Dollars! Let Micah in the internet arena know what you want and or what it takes to EARN your coveted business. Also let me know if any of your local dealers need help because I am looking to buy distressed dealership opportunities with manageable inventory that I can scoop up at fire sale prices as an investment because we are very conservative. I like you you and I think alike.

Much more reliable reviews can be found at sites like Yelp.comGoogle ReviewsYahoo Local and evenRipoffreport.com and are not subject by outside influences, as much, as auto industry specific review sites.  Also these industry neutral sites provide a platform for dealers and their employees to interact with consumers who have expressed a problem.  A dealer will have more credibility handling a problem in the open and having their consumers give freely of their opinion.



The reason dealers are suckered into the dealer review phenomenon is they are given a false sense of security in knowing that they have the ability to cut off a negative review before it is published.  Where as a true web savvy consumer realizes these review sites are more of a facade and a cash grab by their operators.

I have responded to "YMC" in private and public regaurding the issue in his report. Infiniti of lisle has appologized and made changes so simular issues will NOT happen again. I have had no response from "YMC" but will continue to hope that he will contact us in the future so we can make ammends.

A large part of our business is internet related. Being the largest Infiniti dealer in the midwest means we process thousands of transactions by thousands of customers each month. We strive to deliver the best customer satisfaction in the industry but know we cannot please every customer all of the time.
