I too, fell a victim to Mike Marketing's scam but thanks to a coworker looking up the company on rip-off report in time before I went to far.

Mike Marketing sent me an email telling me that I met the minimum criteria for an Administrative Coordinator and would be able to work from home. They offer an excellent salary with benefits. I was told that I need to pass a two week probationary period and thus afterwards I would be offered a permanent full-time or part-time job. After going on-line and agreeing to the two probation I will was sent an email supposely from their security team (Robert Higgins, Security Team - Tel/Fax: +1 (413) 502-0777
security@marketplace.cd) - requesting a photo ID which I sent and shortly I received an email stating that they had received it and they would be continuing to process my application.

I thus start on Monday, October 16 and received an email for Jeff McQuillan, Director of HR, thanking me for joining the company and I should send an email to Sarah Pobordy (s.pobordy@gmail.com) who would be training me for the two weeks along with Jeff. I comply and received my first assignment that involved finding out where Western Union offices were located in my area for wire transfers and sending her their addresses and phone numbers.

The second task was to send them my bank account information along with the transfer number so they could send bank wires into my account and I would then withdraw the money and send them to the accounts via western union and once receipients received them I would load them on their company database. I didn't actually give them my account information but did open an dummy account for use.

I haven't been in contact with them since finding out they were scams and closed the bank account immediately. Jeff has been trying to contact me regarding completing the transaction varies times and leaving messaging on my voicemessage. I think they should be found and reported for this detailed operation.

This is a scam. BEWARE of any company that wants your bank account info and relies on Western Union.
