Complaint Review: Mike Marketing LLC

I have been applying for jobs through many internet job sights so when i heard from Mike Marketing saying I fit their minimal job requirements I didn't really question it, though I couldn't remember specifically applying to that company.

As it turns out,I didn't apply to them. They have been somehow getting contact details through Seek Employment and sent me an email saying I reached the qualifications and asked me to fill out an online application. I did this as there was no real major information they asked me for.

It was only when they sent me the email offering me a job with a 2 week probation period that i became suspicious. I went looking for the website only to discover it didn't exist, it only existed as an attachment to the email. Then I discovered another person had reported them on this site and my suspicions were realized.

My contact had also been with Jeff McQuillan, and thankfully I got suspicious early enough to not get too far in.

Part of what they are doing is trying to get you to market "Adult Multicultural Education Services" and gain donations via a website you would create from home and they would supposedly pay you quite a nice wage for this. Obviously their plan is to take that money and leave you with your name on a fake scam website....ingenious really, except they make it pretty obvious in their emails that it is all a crock.

I hope they are found and suitably punished.
