I purchased a 2007 Hyundai Sonata GLS on 11/06/2014 during a sales event.I made it very clear to the sales staff and finance Manager that because i was cosigner on my sons vehicle, i would need and had a freind who was willing to co-sign a loan. When asked if i was employed, i repeatedly told all staff involved that i was unemployed at that time(but that i had worked at Citizens financial Group as a Senior Personal Banker. After several Banks were asked we were approached by a temp.Salesperson(Monica who was hired specifically for this sales event),who asked if i was "willing to put any amount of money down on this car" of which i did place $250.00 as down payment.

We (myself and freind who was co-signer) were approached and told that they had secured a loan for us and that paper work was needed to be completed. I had rented a car for the express purpose of traveling from Hermitage Pa. to Cuyahoga Falls,Ohio To shop and hopefully purchase a much needed vehicle, and again repeatedly told the sales staff of a 6pm deadline to return this rental vehicle to the local Enterprise rental dealer there in Cuyahoga Falls.

With approx. 20 minutes to return the rental car, we were ushered into Havier's office where all paper work was signed and in such a hurry because he knew and apologized for misspellings on some of the legal documents(some of those legal documents were scribbled over with a ballpoint pen pertaining to misspelling of names on said documents) ,and because of my need to return rental vehical. I also fully accept the fact that i did not read all 10 plus pieces of legal paperwork concerning the sale of the above mentioned vehicle, including the fact that 3 lines above my signiture was a statement stating that i was still indeed still gainfully employed as a Senior Personal banker with CitizensFinancial Group(Charter One, in the State of Ohio.)of which i was not and the staff and Finannce Manager from Youngstown Ohio, were fully aware that i was not employed at the time.

Thinking all was in order, we left the dealership, returned the rental car and i stayed at freinds house to call my insurance carrier in the morning to make sure that i was legally and competely covered for travel from Ohio to Pennsylvania.

On returning to pensnsylvania with title in hand to register the vehicle(the title was in the co-signers name only).....making it virtually impossible for me to register this vehicle, as the owner in the state of Pennsylvania.

On several calls to the Mike Pruitt Dealership, i was told that there was nothing that could be done regarding the titling or ownership of vehicle since legal documents were signed.I called the Clerk of Courts for summit county and spoke to "IDA"(Title Officer) 330-630-7200.Ida said that there was "nothing she could do either".when asked if title could be transferred to my name on the title ,Ida did not have a clear answer to that question as well.

I called my insurance agent who discovered that the car was insured improperly because i was not the owner. The vehivle broke down in Hermitage Pa. leaving me stranded on 12/ 03 /2014 less than 30 days after purchase......i called the dealership and had them flat bed haul the car back to Mike Pruitt Honda.

On Friday Evening at  approximately 4:30 pm(46 hours after picking up my car on Eastlake Rd in Hermitage Pa.at approx 6pm on 12/3/1201)"Robert" the Service manager  said that the entire clutch and some things with the Transmission were"shot" and needed replaced.Robert also quoted me a price of over or close to $2500.00 of which Mike Pruitt Would Be happy to "Split" with me!

I called Huntington Bank (800) 445-8460 and spoke to "Ruth" on12/11/2014. I spoke with"Cassandra" on 12/12/2014 and reported that Mike Honda Pruitt reveresed ownership to Miss Ann Marie Coneglio(my co- signer who incedentely does not need a car.....i did !!!!!!) to get the loan to go through and that they lied to the Huntington Bank about my employment status.

On our way out the door ,new car keys in hand, the Finance Manager came over to myself and Miss Coneglio and with a big grin, handshake and slap on my back said to me"If HuntingtonBank should just happen to call you in the next couple days, you are still employed at Citizens Bank ok?"(wink wink).

i reported this to Huntington Bank and they did not really seem like they cared and why should they?......they got a $10,000.00 plus loan......Mike Pruitt honda got the $10,000.00 dollars.....state of Ohio got $654.32 in taxes on sale of the car.

Since speaking with "Cassandra at Huntington Bank in Michigan on 12/12/2014,i have yet to receive anything from the Clerk of Courts, Summit County requesting or documenting title change or even my name being added to the  Title, which still may pose me not being able to register the car in Pa.In Pennsylvania Pennsylvania Dept.of Transportation holds all vehicle titles untill the  loan obligation has benn fullfilled and they have been notified by the lending Institution.

I cancelled my insurance policy here in Pa.,but Huntington Bank says they will pick which and how much "total coverage" they will place on the car, even though it is sitting in a lot , and not even road worthy or even drivable because if someone would break into it or vandalize or smash into it they need to have their vehicle insured.

I must and often do ask myself, what will happen when the State of Ohio DMV realizes they have a car that was sold ,never registered and never plated, will they wonder where that car is?,will they wonder why emissions testing was never done.

In closing, i know i do not have a leg to stand on because i did sign legal documents(albeit falsified and obtained under false representation) but to call several times to the dealership,to email the owner twice as of this writing and recieve no help at all is wrong, dishonest and not fair.........i do not have 1250.00 plus dollars to "split the cost" notr do i think i should have to when i thought i was buying a car in good faith and from honest people......but in the end it was the money and only the money that mattered.....so as i pay $201.00 plus dollars to Huntington Bank every month to satisfy my and my co-signers obligation financially and add to that full comprehensive and collision on a car that will sit there for 5 years is just wrong.....no matter how you look at it..........lesson learned.....and believe me when i say that i will be posting local paper ads and flyers in the Akron Area not to Do business with Mike Pruitt Honda.....maybe just maybe  the new owner Mr..Joey Huang will feel it in his wallett like i will in mine for 5 years.

the only consolation i can get out of this is to be more Christ like and forgive all involved and if nothing else all that walking searching for work will keep me healty.

I really expect no respose  or action to right this wrong, but it did feel good to put it all down in print, and to whoever is tasked with having to read all this .......Thank You

Mike Pruitt Honda DBA as Great Lake Honda

Mike Pruitt Honda has changed its name to Great Lakes Honda. Unfortunatly they are still the same dealer and same owner. I filed a report at the beginning of this year and have consulted every legal avenue and Governing Body to get results for repairs to a vehicle that i owneded for less that 30 days and less that 1000 miles. This car is completely broken down and totally undrivable.

The dealer offed to "split the cost" which shouild not even be an issue......they should have covered the whole cost of repairs, seeing how it was broken down with in 30 days. The repair cost to the dealer would be minimal because of mechanic staff on duty and by sheer volume and discounts these dealers receive on replacement parts.

I asked to speak to the service mananger about a total invoice of all damamged parts that needed replaced and a firm estimate on cost to repair. I know and did not expect an exact figure of total cost to repair and make my vehicle road worthy.........when i mentioned that if i recieved and inventory of damaged parts, and chose to have the dealer repair the car, that i would like all parts replaced saved by the reapir team ,to be reviewed by a mechanic of my choosing. The service manamger replied"GET A LAWYER"

From Financing to delivery and to total disregard for anything resembling honest business conduct, this dealer does not care and made that very clear and plain to me. I EVEN QUESTIONED THEIR FINANCING TECHNIQUES AND QUESTION THEIR ETHICS IN THAT AREA AS WELL.

DO NOT BUY ANY CAR FROM GREAT LAKES HONDA....NEW OR USED!!!!!!!    YOU WILL REGRET IT.......I AM SURE THERE ARE MORE REPUTABLE HONDA DEALERS NEAR THAT ONE......DO YOURSELF THE FAVOR AND AVOID THE HEADACHE.......DO NOT BUY FROM GREAT LAKES HONDA!!!!!!!!
