Mike Pruitt Honda partook in a spot delivery scam. I went in to look at the new Honda Fit.

A certain Gina Baldino showed me the car (an EX model, as they didn't have the base model that I wanted to try out) and continued then to pressure me into "buying" it. I fill out the paperwork, as its crammed into my face, and leave with the car, leaving my old Saturn L300 in their hands as the trade-in.

On July 27, I received a letter from Honda Financial stating that my credit application was denied. I had also received no other contact from the dealership as to where to send my payment or that the car was even transferred into my name. looked through the paperwork, and saw the spot delivery form.

I then contacted the law office of Burdge Law, who analyzed the papers and said I was the victim of a spot delivery scam. I was instructed to leave the car at the dealership locked, and hand an envelope with the keys and a letter stating that I wanted to cancel the deal. I was also informed that the car was still under ownership of the dealership, that the car had not been transferred into my name.

On August 4, I returned the car. On the August 5th, I met with the owner of the dealership, who basically tried to saddle me with the car, stating that I was actually approved for a lone, despite the fact that I had signed paperwork stating that I was actually not financed, and that the dealership was still trying to get it for me (the spot delivery form signed with the other papers at the beginning of the deal).
