Now

Chris Cxxxx

I arrived at the Ford place 15 minutes later and immediatly they are asking me to have issurance switched over to their new car, removed my old tag, and filling the new car up. I NEVER received any pre-sale paper work and later was told the printer was broke by Gene. He also stated it was not proper precedure or normal for customers to see the final paperwork in the loan office.

Later I found out the agreement was not 60 months but 72 months while I am singning the final electric copies of my agreement. At this point, I demanded my keys to my car back and wanted to leave, but my car keys where missing, my tag removed, and my car title was already signed over.

At this point, I requested to speak to the general manager Gene where he rushed me off in a back office because customers where seeing how they lied and took advantage of me. In the office he kept offering things to make the deal better and I ended up with a car payment of 528.00 which WAS NOT THE DEAL I was promised.

What your lie cost me:

I figured it out... Since my car payment is 528.00 for 60 months.. However, Gene did cut me a check for 528.00 ON the day your FAKE deal was agreed too. Resulting in the following error OF course robbing my POCKET.

So (28.00 * 60 =1680.00) 1680- 528.00= 1152.00

FYI-

I am an Teacher and we don't take lightly being robbed and scammed. Now that I don't have to worry about planning engaging lessons and encouraging excellence in the classroom. I plan on collecting my check of 1152.00 that is rightfully owed to me. I am requesting you comply and send my my money you own me. If not, I will write this on every review website, email every one at Ford, write every news organization, and do whatever possible to let EVERYONE how a local resident fell victim of a scam at Ford of Orange Park.

Chris

--PS I am requesting that this email be sent to Mike Shad because I have a feeling he will make this right and terminate everyone involved because this is NOT how you treat customers. If it dont reach him, then it will because the local news will be ALL over this. I know someone who is DYING for me to let them run this STORY.

Well Lion O you are the one who obviously feels inferior since you were the one to started to put others down. Read through your little thread here and see who started calling people stupid or making statements to put others down and you will see it started it with YOU.

Teaching is a great profession to those who are really engaged in teaching our youth and doing what they can to teach them literacy and to engage in healthy debate when their ideas are challenged.

The only lessons I have seen you teach are:
1.Failure to take responsibility for your own decisions or that you need not honor a contract that you agreed to.
2. That it is ethical to extort money from others if they do not succumb to your threats.
3. That it is okay to bully others and call them names if they do not agree with your stance.

A fine example of a teacher you are. You should take a refresher course.

A rocket scientist for sure. Uhhhh....wait a minute. You call me a "dumbass"?  You're the one whose verbiage, spelling and attitude are the very defining actions of a dumbass. So youre really into research eh? Thats why the car dealer was able to run you in circles, stick it in, and break it off? Cant spell, cant compose a professionally written instrument, cant mentally keep up with a car salesman? Display the apparent acerbic attitude of a well..a dumbass?

.

Finance a vehicle? Golly! I havent been obliged to purchase a vehicle by that means for the last 40 years. In fact, I recently found my credit rating was only mediocre for the fact I dont finance anything. A curious non-issue with me.

.

By your own statement  you allude to making plenty of money, yet you are obliged to seek dealer financing on a vehicle? A we tote your note type finance buyer? Goes into a dealership with no money and no financing pre arranged? A car dealers dream come true. Yeah-you sound really sharp, eh? Maybe you can have the secretary of your department accompany you on your next vehicle buying tarriance.

.

Ill correct an error in my last post, you misspelled at least  12 words, not  11 .

"When I viewed the contract for the first time... They already KNEW how much MONEY I make. They knew where I lived and SO happy it was paid off. They knew I had plenty of money in the BANK...So they decided to SUCK a little more MONEY out of me because they knew I would not waste my time over 2,000 dollars! This is LIKE my 15th NEW car, "dip stick STEVEN". THEREFORE, I told MYSELF, this STORY needs to be TOLD because they probaly do this to EVERYONE. I WANT THEIR LIE to COST them more then it DID me!!!!!! Do you not get that or are you just STUPID?"

Well how much CASH did you put down on your car in addition to your PAID OFF trade?

You mean to say they ran a credit check on you while you were exchanging emails? Did you still get the original APR or did they jack that up on you also? They have no way of knowing how much money you made unless you told them.

As for the STUPID part??? I have not paid more than 4.5 in interest over the past couple of cars I got. I find it hard to believe that a SMART person like you claim to be would pay more interest.

"Steven the whole jest of the report is NOT to get money... It's to let my story be heard. Honestly, I don't buy cars ALL the time or work at a car dealership... However, it does irritate me when I get lied too and jerked around by shaddy people."

Not to be nit picky but I think the word you mean is JUST not JEST (unless this whole report is a joke).

So now you change your story again. Now it seems you have bought 15 NEW cars. At first I thought you were just young and stupid but obviously you are just stupid or just have very little common sense. I would think a person that has bought 15 cars would not whine about not seeing a work sheet or blindly sign a contract for more than he wanted. Really I think you could have probably gotten the original deal if you would have gotten up and walked away the first time around. You showed them you were serious about buying the vehicle and if you would have played the game with them they would have called you back the next day and had you sign what they were offering before.

"Those teacher and students at the school your referring to are trying REALLY hard. Plus schools with low scores don't have ALL bad teachers. However, they become areas of concern and passion for highly effective teachers and many times HAVE the best teachers in the state. YOU do not know what these kids go THROUGH... Some don't have enough food on the table, living with the state, or parents that simply DO NOT CARE. So when a teacher is doing a terrific job, well that kid is worring about his/her next meal you selfish SLIM BALL. Then they hear LOSERS like you dawg them and they they SHELL up even more with self doubt. Then when that test is talking about PHOTOSYNTHESIS they say WHY do I need to learn this. Why try??? According to you, they are DOOMED and should give up because they have the worst teachers in the STATE. However, they don't because they are told by TEACHERS like me, that lossers are just stepping stones or hurdles they need to move PAST. "

I know that no doubt there are some deserving students who have it rough but the real truth is they don't learn because they don't want to. I went thru the school system way back in the day I know what those kids go through I went to school with them and I know you are stretching it quite a bit. The LOSERS that dog them are their peers not adults discouraging them.

I have yet to see anywhere that I say they are DOOMED and should give up. If they want to learn fine that is great but there are even more that are in school just wasting their time till they are old enough to drop out.

Here's a TEACHER bragging:  "I make PLENTY of money teaching. Actually, I work one of the BEST school and EVEN the largest school in the State of Flordia. Not only one of the best, but I work 12 months out of the year becaue I DO it SO WELL, you p***k"
.
Yeah! A really good teacher. Aside from the poor syntax and obscenities, we have eleven misspelled words in her / his entry, to wit: [1]Flordia, [2]becaue,[3] Futhermore,[4] devit,[5] responces, [6]issurance,[7]probaly,[8]woring,[9]dawg,[10]"Shell up(?)",[11] lossers.
.
Small wonder we have high school graduates who can barely compose an intelligible script. This is an example of dialogue of one who professes to teach higher learning and even brags up her capacity to "teach".  English in the United  States is going to hell in a hand basket, along with other so called subjects of (not so) higher learning! The dumbing down of our country from the supposed top.

Im reminded of the old clich those who can ,do; those who cant teach.

Let's cear some of your misconceptions up:

First! I make PLENTY of money teaching. Actually, I work one of the BEST school and EVEN the largest school in the State of Flordia. Not only one of the best, but I work 12 months out of the year becaue I DO it SO WELL, you p***k. Futhermore, you devit, We have students by the thousands moving in right now which is a HUGE break compared to the TENS of thousands that attending during the school year.

MY POINT! I DID my research and dealings through EMAIL. Therefore, many deals where in progress and I was getting MANY responces and declined many BETTER deals. (For the FORD deal) When I get down there they take my title, had me changed issurance, sign my car over, MOVE IT to the back, retagged my new car, and went to fill it up with GAS. SO I AM PISSED, I was scammed and did not want to start OVER, you idiot.

READ VERY CLOSE HERE:

When I viewed the contract for the first time... Do you not get that or are you just STUPID?

In Closing:

Those teacher and students at the school your referring to are trying REALLY hard. Plus schools with low scores don't have ALL bad teachers. However, they become areas of concern and passion for highly effective teachers and many times HAVE the best teachers in the state. YOU do not know what these kids go THROUGH... Still waiting for you to provide more helpful information to the OP about how to resolve this issue. As usual no helpful information from you.

I have yet to see where the OP has sued the dealership for breach of contract. Oh, thats right the only contract that matters is the final sales contract he signed.

The OP has yet to give any real reason why he signed a "DEAL" that was not the deal he was offered at first. Why wait a year to say anything? He obviously has been incapable of providing good lesson plans and teaching students. Where does he teach? Maybe Landon Middle School?? Maybe at one of the other low scoring schools.

I'm not a retard

#28General Comment

Fri, June 22, 2012

Well if you think it is retarded NOT to be bullied into paying 528 a month for a vehicle when you just wanted to pay 491 then I must be a retard.

You had every opportunity to refuse to sign any paperwork because it was not what you agreed to pay. The final paperwork is all that matters you fool. Everything up to then means nothing. The only contract that means anything is that one you signed for 528 a month.

What don't you understand about that.

Means absolutely nothing that you signed your title over to them. If they refused to give you back the title you just call the DMV and report lost/stolen title.

If they moved your car and won't give back the keys or tell you where it is. Resolved by just getting up walking away and refusing to talk any more and calling the police to file a complaint for stealing your keys as well as extorting your vehicle (beats them calling the police on you for causing a disturbance).

You are suffering from buyers remorse. While you are on break from teaching this summer review some of the basic tenants of business law.

You know, There is no contract unless there is a meeting of the minds. This meeting of the minds should be written on paper and signed to document this meeting of the minds.

You are a weird dude for sure. You make no valid points and honestly I don't want to waste my time responding to you. It is not 491 for 60 months. It was 491 for 72 months... That is the part they lied about!!!!!! The term you retard! I agreed for 491 for 60 months. When I got there they did not show me the paperwork until the whole transaction was complete. I ended up with the car for 528 for 60 months... Your comments on the upside down in my car is bogus man. I make plenty of money and put a traded my car in on it too. The lying and scam is what I am pissed about. I accepted the deal at the end because it was just too much to reown my trade it, change insurance back, get my tag back in my name, ext.. It's CRAPPY that it went down like that... I am not answering your questions because they are irrelevant and off topic. Also, as dumb as you sound I know you don't work at the dealership so keep you goverment check.

#28Consumer Comment

Fri, June 15, 2012

I am not an employee and I will personally pay you 1150 dollars if you can prove otherwise.  If I am not an employee you will pay me 1150.

I have asked you some very relevant questions. Your dodging the questions prove that you are lying about this claim of a ripoff and this is in fact just buyers remorse (after all you did pay on this contract for about a year already).

Let's just do some basic math here. 491 dollars for 60 months comes up to 29460 and 528 for 72 months comes up to 38016 a difference of 8556.

Did you go into the dealership planning to put no money down? Did you tell that to the salesman while you emailing back and forth. Is the same vehicle you financed 38000 for the same vehicle you planned on financing 29460 for? Did the dealership tack on credit life, extended warranties, as well as GAP insurance? Did you agree to all these.

Sue Mike Shad Ford instead of trying to extort money from them. After all that is what it is called when you threaten to report something unless money is given.

Sue them for breach of contract because they told you one thing to get you onto the lot and put a gun to your head to make you buy the car.  If you would have filed a complaint within a few days of buying the car I would probably believe you.  I think now you have seen how upside down you are in your present vehicle and now you are angry.

None of your arguments hold water. When the high pressure tactics I have said give me back my keys and show me where my car is and I will leave.

I tell you what. Go ahead and call the dealership that one of their employees  is discrediting your ripoff report and demand they fire him.

#28Author of original report

Thu, June 14, 2012

Steven the whole jest of the report is NOT to get money... It's to let my story be heard. Honestly, I don't buy cars ALL the time or work at a car dealership... However, it does irritate me when I get lied too and jerked around by shaddy people. Your just trying to be an butthole on here and trying to offer advice after the fact. The point is... The dealership and manger agreed to a deal then when I get their they take my tag off my car, have me sign my car over, put their tag on, say their computer is broke, and when I get in there for the final paperwork it is NOT the deal we have discussed OVER AND OVER... They try to add on a whole year to the payment of 491 making it 72 months.  Your right.. I should have demanded to leave but then the manager, once I made a big deal about it, move some numbers around and offered some bull deal of 528 for 60 months. For me, I KNEW I was getting screwed on the car,  but I did not know where they moved my car too, I had already signed my car over, changed the insurace over, and thought.... I would just EAT this scam and write a review on EVERY WEBSITE possible about how they lied, scammed, and treated me. I emailed them and said if they would honor there orginal deal, I would not tell my story. I KNOW they would not and to ME. Truth should be TOLD about them. I will write reviews and tell my story over and over and over... So that everyone knows they are liars... Or should I say YOU are a liar because I know you are an employee at Mike Shad Ford. My goal is to COST you more than 1152.00 dollars because of you shaddy lies and BS. I have yet to see YOU provide any kind of resolution on anything you have posted to. The REAL Josey Wales would.

So what advice do you have offer Josey? Please tell us how failure to read a contract or have the backbone to get up and walk away and say "I will come back when you give me a contract for 496 a month for 60 months"

The OP agreed in writing to 528 a month for 72 months. That is the bottom line.

Buyers remorse is the only thing the OP has. That is his only motivation for writing this report. If he was concerned about letting the public know about this dealership bullies its customers into purchasing a vehicle he wouldn't have said give me the money I FEEL you owe me or else.

I am merely asking relevant questions about the purchase price and the 6.9 percent interest. My credit union is offering 2 percent and last year around this time they were offering 4 percent or so. I haven't had anyone try to get me to pay anything more than 4.25 percent in over 10 years.

What you don't seem to understand is "THE DEAL" is what is finalized on the contract. In this case you paid 528 dollars a month for the past year and are just now complaining about it.

Why don't you tell us how much the truck was to begin with. Then tack on tax, tag, title, and delivery.

Did you even bother to break out a calculator before you left the house to see how they proposed to sell you a truck that is around 25K minimum (for a base truck) and rattle off a payment under 500 for 5 years.

Did you get credit life? How about an extended warranty? How much were they going to give you for your trade? Were you going to trade in a vehicle or pay 15 to 20 percent down in cash or check? Did you want to just finance the whole transaction.

Car dealers continually prove they're capable of rising to any scum level. What's with the (QUOTE):
He also stated it was not proper procedure or normal for customers to see the final paperwork in the loan office.
Really? What a crock! Actually, the average buyer that allows the dealer to arrange financing usually has no clue as to what they really
paid or at what terms when they leave.

The dealers in my area ALL have "doc. fees" of either $499. or $599. That, of course, is just a foo-foo charge that has escalated from less than $100. when first initiated. Their advertising showing pricing of all vehicles then shows in nearly illegible font at the bottom of the page "price  plus $2000. cash or trade".

.

There is absolutely no level below which car dealers ethics will fall. And it
continues to fall. The last honest car dealer probably sold Hudsons.

As for the money, I feel they do owe it to me, but the the 1152.00 is not going to break my bank account either way. My main focus is to shine LIGHT on the matter so others do not fall victim this type of poor business ethics. Also, do you really think anyone believes your not tied to the dealership because no consumer would agree that it is RIGHT to offer a customer something in writing and screw them when they get there.

You are a salesman dream come true. Basically speaking you said I don't care what you put me in just put me in an SUV (or any other vehicle) for less than 500 dollars a month. Evidently they did just that but ended up going over just a bit. If 28 dollars was such a burden why did you sign the loan?

"Later I found out the agreement was not 60 months but 72 months while I
am singning the final electric copies of my agreement. At this point, I
demanded my keys to my car back and wanted to leave, but my car keys
where missing, my tag removed, and my car title was already signed over."

None of this really mattered up until you signed the loan agreement. All you had to do was say whoooooooooooaaaaaa wait a minute this is moving to fast and I want to review everything before making a final decision to purchase this vehicle. All you had to do was get back your title, put your tag back on the car and ask again for your keys. None of the paperwork signed up to the loan is anything more than a commitment process until the deal is final.

"At this point, I requested to speak to the general manager Gene where he
rushed me off in a back office because customers where seeing how they
lied and took advantage of me. In the office he kept offering things to
make the deal better and I ended up with a car payment of 528.00 which
WAS NOT THE DEAL I was promised."

What deal were you promised?? Less than 500 a month?? That went out the window when you signed the loan for 528 a month. According to the info below they even paid the first month for you.
Once again I ask "If 28 bucks is such a drain on your budget why continue the purchase?"

""I figured it out... Since my car payment is 528.00 for 60 months..
However, Gene did cut me a check for 528.00 ON the day your FAKE deal
was agreed too. Resulting in the following error OF course robbing my
POCKET. ""

"I am an Teacher and we don't take lightly being robbed and scammed. Now
that I don't have to worry about planning engaging lessons and
encouraging excellence in the classroom. I plan on collecting my check
of 1152.00 that is rightfully owed to me. I am requesting you comply and
send my my money you own me. If not, I will write this on every review
website, email every one at Ford, write every news organization, and do
whatever possible to let EVERYONE how a local resident fell victim of a
scam at Ford of Orange Park.

You are not telling anyone in town something they don't already know about high pressure car dealerships. There are some things you can do so you will not be put in this situation again.

1. Research the vehicle you want first. You evidently started doing this at some point since you initially contacted the dealer via email after checking out cars on their site.
Never talk with a dealership until you have made a decision on what you intend to buy and exactly what you intend to pay. Never make this decision based on loan payments since you could easily find yourself in a more expensive vehicle than you can afford based on the fact they will finance it for almost 10 years.

2. If you belong to a credit union or even a bank then check out their loan info. I think most credit unions will pre-approve you for a certain amount and then cut you a check up to that amount to pay for the vehicle. Never mention to the dealership that you have a pre-approved loan until you have negotiated the car price first. If you say something upfront they may not give you as good of a deal since dealerships can bump up your finance rates on the back end for credit life or GAP insurance to make up the money they took off the purchase price.

3. Just a bit of personal advice. When going into a car dealership and they ask for car keys for what ever reason you should have a spare set handy to give them and keep THE KEYS to your car in your pocket or if you have a spouse have her keep them in her purse. There were/are actually some dealerships that will not give you back your keys because they do something like throw them up on the roof or you have to make a real scene (involving police) to get them back.

By the way I do not work for the dealership.
