I was another victim of this amazingly talented thief. I was the "lucky" winner of a Canon Digital camera on Overstock Auctions to the tune of $522.00 (including shipping, ha!) I sent a cashiers check the next day and talked to Mike by email. I was told as soon as the check cleared bank the camera would be sent. Four days later I was told camera was on the way. I asked for tracking number and was given a bogus tracking number that was actually a fed ex item he had received. When I told him about this he said his shipping guy had made a mistake, he would clear it up next day and send actual number.

The story goes on and on with bogus numbers and lies until I told him I was contacting US Postal inspectors. Next day his email account was no longer working. When I contacted Overstock they told me there were nine complaints about him and they had disabled his account.

I have filed a complaint with my local sheriff department and the Internet Fraud Commission (IFCC). I am waiting for forms from US Postal Inspectors and will file those as soon as I can as well as contact the authorities in Grand Junction.

I have been in contact with others who have had similar experiences with Mike and there is a great desire to see that justice is done and this jerk gets what he deserves.
