Complaint Review: Mike Vassil Michael J. Vassil

Mr. Vassil is traveling in the southern state area (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina & North Carolina) selling items which he has stolen from various dealers in the jewelery industry. The items include the following, Indian artifacts, fossils, silver jewelery, amethyst geodes & various other jewelery items. I have had an arrest warrant issued for him and have found out from the magistrate that he has a court date on 6/24/80 for passing a bad check in the amount of $3550.00 to a J. Wilson in the county of Avery in NC.

Mr. Vassil has a convincing story on how he had to let his Gem business go because his conscience was bothering him. He will tell you that in this business it is a standard practice for dealers to sell customers high quality rough stones to be cut into gems then switch them for inferior stones. The name of the gem mine that he worked at was called Magic Mountain in Boon NC. He said this was his business but never belonged to him. It was his ex-mother-in-law who finally had enough of him stealing from her and sent him packing. This was around Christmas of 2007, he has been traveling around doing flea markets and festivals since that time selling the items he has stolen from her and various other victims.

Mr. Vassil is approximately 6 ft tall and has dark brown curly hair and brown eyes. He is part American Indian and Greek and his skin tone is dark. If you meet this person please do not fall for his lies and scams.
