Complaint Review: Mike Wasso Paving

The agreement with Mike Wasso Paving was to pave a portion of our driveway and the work was to be completed in one day.

The work started late on the agreed day and as a result only half of the work was complete. Mike Wasso promised to return the following morning and requested half of the agreed amount to cover the cost of asphalt. Mike Wasso kept making excuses related to family tragedies each day as to why he was not able to make it, and kept on promising to compete the work the next morning.

Mike Wasso did not show up the next day as promised but actually five days later. When Mike Wasso showed up he asked us to do the trucking for a promise of some sort of discount.  

At the end of the day the paving was not complete, so Mike Wasso promised again to return the next day. He again asked for payment to cover labor and cost of materials. We paid him in full. Unfortunately, he never returned to complete the work. 

this has been a painful and very disappointing experience for us and only hope this report prevents another family from being ripped off In the Santa Clarita Valley or anywhere else where Mike Wasso Paving conducts business.
