I worked at this place, off and on, over a three year period. The verbal abuse was incredible. Workers would be herded into a room to be yelled at and reamed out for something they personally may not have done. The "coaches" were a joke. The regional manager was totally useless and caused more problems than he solved when he came down. You were constantly monitored by either the coaches or by corporate office. Bullying was the 'management' technique used. Employees would be dismissed on the spot. Your wages would be dropped if production was not up to 'standard'. Everything from sales to money collected was the 'fault' of the telemarketer. Workers had to sign a 'disciplinary action' for everything from being late to having sales plummet.

Combined with the bullying was the employment of brain washing techniques beginning with the premise that 'you are nobody unless we tell you otherwise.' Our office would fire 'managers' as well as TSR's on the spot and no job was secure. If you were accused of something, you were guilty and could never be proven innocent. Even with $15 per hour (which could be dropped at the whim of management) it isn't worth the stress. Only about 15.5% of the monies collected go the the alleged 'charity'.

You're better off working at another place for $11 per hour than working there and having your self esteem run into the ground by a bunch of yahoos who couldn't find their face with both hands and a diagram.
