Miller Plante Company is taking me to collections over their product they claim to have never received back from me! Maitland Florida
This company is a scam! First I was contacted by them by phone in August and was talked into something that for one thing I really didn't want. How can they guarantee something that we really have no idea if it works or not? Do we actually go down and check our septic systems out first before we try the product?
Anyway, I sent the package back after opening it to find a return address, which could not find one..so I took it to the post office and paid $18.99 to ship it back to the warehouse. And after a couple of weeks I started receiving bills as to what I still owed them. I wrote on each bill that I had sent the package back without using any of their product, but after 3 months of doing this over and over, I finally called when I received a bill telling me that they were taking me to collections for non-payment!
I talked to three different people who told me that if I didn't pay something right then and now, I was going to have to pay legal fees, along with the product, and this would show on my credit report! They even offered to knock down what I owed them by $40. I asked them why I should pay for something that I sent back and pay on something that I don't even have anymore?!
That was when she got rude with me and said that I verbally agreed to pay for this item and since they never received the package back then I still owed them! She then told me that I needed to pay her right now with a check by phone or a credit card, so I hung up on her!
My problem now is that I cannot find my receipt from the post office to help prove that it was sent back! I really hope that someone can help me out here! Thanks!
