Miller-Plante ripoff Product was Ineffective, MoneyBack Guarantee Not Honored Maitland Maitland Florida
In August 2004, my ex-husband received three calls from a Nathan L., referencing litigation.
I returned the calls only to find out that Nathan L. works in collection department at Miller-Plante. He was trying to collect $42 for the Enza-Clene that I had been convinced to order by Miller-Plante's tele-marketer. I explained to Nathan that I had returned that product in Jan 2004 because IT DID NOT WORK. I had in April 2004 faxed a postal return receipt to "Bernice" in the Miller-Plante collection department.
Nothing more was heard from them until Nathan called me threatening me with damaging my credit history. When I phoned Nathan back explaining that I had the receipt and could send it. Nathan said there is a no return policy on liquids and that I must pay for it. I told him I wouldn't pay for something that I returned and most importantly...IT WAS NOT EFFECTIVE and DID NOT UNCLOG my drains. Nathan then said he would file a non-payment report and hung up on me.
I can't believe that this company has a right to change their return policy of "money-back guarantee." Do I have any recourse to protect my credit history from this very unscrupulous company?
