Lets see, where do i start. My boyfriend already had his cdl, had to go back to school cause he hasnt drove in over a year. He completes school. Told the instructor he wanted to leave for training right after orientation. Well Mike millis sent him home to be picked up there. He completed orientation 6-23-10 and was scheduled to go with his trainer 6-26-10. Well that didnt happen. The trainer drove right past him cause his dispatcher wouldnt let him pick him up. Then He was supposed to be picked up monday when his trainer went back out that didnt happen. He was supposed to be picked up that wed, well as you know that didnt happen, then friday came trainer drove right past him again. The following monday he was supposed to be picked up at 7am, but the trainers dispatcher sent him home with a load so he couldnt come get him. we contacted the trainer about meeting him in his home town which was only 2 hours away. They wouldnt let that happen. That monday he had tried to contact mike millis again to find out he was out of the office for a week. So he talked to the next person in charge, she was trying to contact mike to find out what to do. So from 6-23 to 7-8 he has been getting the run around about going out with his trainer. This is the most irresponsible trucking company, you overload your class cause you need trucks moving but yet you have no trainers to train. How are you gonna run a company when the owners, trainers, and dispatchers are not on the same page. Why does the dispatcher keep blowing him off, probly cause he gets paid for what the employee runs. I just dont understand why they keep doing this. So hopefully when mike millis gets back in the office something is done about it. If not see you in court, we will fight the tution all the way, why should we have to pay for something when the company cant even keep their end of the bargain. school, orientation, train, and on your own. ya right what a joke.

He talked to mike when he got back from vacation. He was a little upset that they kept passing him up. He is on the road now. Mike got back and set them straight. I have always heard good thinks about millis, then when all that happened its like what happened to all the good reviews. It ended up being the dispatcher and trainer. The dispatcher wouldnt let him stop and with the trainer it was his first time doing it so he probly didnt know what to expect or do. thanks for the comment.

Let it first be known that I am a driver for Millis Transfer. I am not associated with management nor the training department. I am just a lowly driver. Your experience is not typical of the company. Millis is the second company that I have worked for, and through my experiences with them, they are put together better than most of the companies out there. The only good explanation that I can think of is that the trainer is giving your boyfriend the "run around".  It is not my intent to defend the company, but your explanation of what has happened is certainly not characteristic of the company. Good luck in resolving this issue.
