This is a business I used to patronize weekly but then moved away.  70 years same location. For an urgent need I went there twenty years later straight on the way home purchasing three new suits.

They claim instant alterations.  I brought in 3 new suits for hemming waist reduction and press only on Saturday 7/24.  A tall bald headed tailor threw a comical fit when I requested 3 day service.  So I agreed to the day before I needed them for a funeral.  I requested all tags be removed and new garment vent threads cut away.

Saturday 7/31 I pick up the order but noticed the garment count was three items short vs my tickets and tags not removed.  The clerk takes them back to address.  Upon returning she claims tags and threads removed all garment were there. My mistake was not unwrapping a second time to inspect, trusting their reputation and past personal experience.

Sunday morning day of funeral to my horror all pants missing.  Their sign said 24x7x365 but Sunday morning I'm literally pounding with all my strength on locked glass door.  Finally some one answers.  Pants still in alterations department, pick up clerk out and out lied, hemming was off by four inches no waist reduction performed.

There is nothing they can do to compensate for the grief they inflicted on me.  The obnoxious part is they charge premium prices and advertise me premium services. Let any potential new customers see this and go elsewhere it's just not worth paying top dollar for poor service and lies.

After receiving a nice note from ownership I withdraw my complaint, apologies accepted. No monetary damage occurred. Bad communication. Never verbal anything in a tailoring order be sure it’s all clearly written down. It is not realistic to judge a virus era business based on previous experience from 20 years ago. Things are different these days everywhere.

After a nice note from the new owner I am completely satisfied with their apology and withdrawal any complaints. Communications breakdown, never verbal a tailoring request, make sure everything is written down. No monetary damage occurred. It is unrealistic to judge any virus era business based on ones experiences of twenty years ago.
