Hello,

I am writing to report a very bad experience with a local rescue.

Mini Aussie Rescue & Support of the Pacific NW was extremely hostile and abusive during an email interaction regarding their adoption process.

I filled out their very long application as requested. At the end of the application in a comment area I simply stated that my husband and I are looking to adopt a dog with a fee ranging from $0-200. This was the most we were comfortable paying for adoption fees.

After reviewing their website, I saw that they had a several dogs whose fees were between 100-400 dollars, so I did not think this was going to be a problem. I assumed they would simply send me the name of a dog or two that met our parameters.

Instead I received the MOST hostile emails from a woman named Leslie, that I have ever received.

She called me everything from ignorant to cheap and everything in between. Then, having never inspected my home, proclaimed me unfit and not "high quality enough to be considered for adoption".

This behavior from a rescue staffer is unacceptable. I am now considering taking her emails to the media, but that would mean bad publicity for all involved.

I strongly recommend that you reprimand this rescue and never do business with them, until they learn to interact respectfully with potential adopters.

Thank you for taking the time to address this matter.

Regards,
Raquel Perez
