I have been eyeing a 2013 FIAT for three weeks where it has sat on the used floor here at Mini. I finally scheduled a test drive, showed up early and Jack the long, haired goofy looking guy who walks like Keanu in Bill n Ted's, comes bouncing up to me to tell he just sold the car.

3+ weeks, back and forth via email up to 2 hours ago to confirm appointment with ALEX DO the Internet sales manager, and this? Something is fishy. Either Jackie Boy doesn't quite understand the legal ramifications of the Bait n Switch or he's a lying, sleazy used car salesman that will do anything to make is $600. Obviously both
Anyway, I called him out on it and he kept stumbling on words and couldn't keep his story straight. Surprise. Surprise.
Email just received one hour after confirmation:
I just tried to call you, Alex and I wanted to inform you, the Fiat just sold. Sorry for the inconvenience, please let us know if there are any other vehicles in our inventory that you would like to look at.

We don't legally have to provide you with anything. If you need a lawyer, the client who purchased the Fiat is an attorney and I can refer him to you if you'd like. The nature of this business is to sell cars and there's no holding spots in line as it's first come, first served. It's a pretty simple business model.
