Booked a cruise with MiniVacations as the result of a timeshare promo and on September 1, 2005, authorized a $500 debit to my credit card account as a deposit. My account was charged for that amount on September 14, 2005.

Notwithstanding repeated calls to MiniVacations regarding the status of our pending cruise, nothing they said made any sense nor did we receive any calls or mail.

On January 9, 2006, I telephoned MiniVacations and informed them we wanted a deposit refund. I was informed the request must be sent to them by FAX. This was done on January 10, 2006.

I telephoned MiniVacations again on January 24, 2006 and wqas informed it takes up to 30 days for refund processing.

My credit card account has not been credited and based on information on the internet, I suspect it won't be.

At the least, I suspect deceitful busuness practices and probably acts of fraud.
