My husband and I went to a MVI Marketing seminar in Daytona sometime in August. A few months afterward, I sent in the $100.00 ($50.00 per person) deposit for the Vegas trip. Then, my husband and I separated and I sent a letter to MVI requesting a refund of the deposit explaining my situation. I didn't hear back from them.

I wait a month after that letter and sent another Certified letter to request the refund again. After another month, I decided to send in the travel information and the date wanted - thinking that in order to get my refund I needed to have a travel date picked out first. A few days after sending that Certified letter, I sent another Certified letter requesting the refund AGAIN! It's been about a month and still have not gotten anything from them.

I made sure I was within the time limits that apply to the certificate, so I don't know what the problem is. I just know that I REFUSE to pay any money to get my refund and I'm tired of waiting!

NOTE: Rip-off Report launched a complete investigation on this particular situation and found that Mini Vacations had no control over promises another company makes when marketing their vacation coupons. Even though Mini Vacations is not responsible for another company's actions, they have been giving FULL refunds to anyone who has contacted them, and has even given more than they should have in the name of good customer service

This is an update of my complaint to Mini Vacations. I sent an email to the company along with a link to my posted complaint and just a day or two after, I received an email back from the company saying they would be happy to refund my deposit. I got the check in the mail within about 5 days. THANK YOU!
